The objective of the Questionnaire on Radio and Television Broadcasting Statistics is to monitor recent trends in selected areas of this industry across Member States. The survey is intended to be carried out periodically and the data collected from the questionnaire will be included in the next UIS data release, posted on this website and published in international reports and UNESCO publications.

The electronic questionnaires, with the exception of Russian, require the “Adobe Reader 6.0.2” software or later software versions of Adobe Reader. The Russian questionnaire requires Adobe Reader version 7.0 or greater.  If you do not already have this software installed on your computer, free downloadable versions are available at the following address:
